The Wings to Fly Initiative (WFI) is a vibrant and driven refugee-led community-based organization founded in 2019 to address the unique challenges faced by the refugee population in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya. WFI’s primary focus lies in promoting harmonious coexistence, ensuring access to quality education, and combating poverty within the refugee communities.
WFI firmly believes that education is not only a fundamental right but also a transformative opportunity for refugee communities. The course spans 3 months, and registration closes on August 31st, 2023, at 4:30 PM.
Registration Requirements:
- Must be a UNHCR-registered refugee
- Ages 9 to 14
- Able to communicate in English
- Self-driven and disciplined mindset
- Ready to fully commit to the course
